first friday downtown artwalk, presque isle

Presque Isle

The First Friday Downtown Artwalk began in 2010 as a year-round event where people can meet, unwind and enjoy works by local artists.  Visitors are invited to take a self-guided stroll through downtown Presque Isle and the University galleries to hear live music, meet local authors and artists and experience the heart of our community. Visit Turner Memorial Library Gallery, Wintergreen Arts Center, Merchants on the Corner, Sorpreso, Morning Star Arts and Framing, the Downtown Revitalization Committee, Freddy P’s, The Cubby, Bou’s Brew Pub, Precision Tattoo and Oasis Salon,
the Presque Isle Chamber of Commerce and the University of Maine in Presque Isle.

(Not all of the venues participate each month so we usually encourage people to check out the facebook page for a listing of monthly participants.)
