This free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums, and alternative art venues is part of the Legacy of the Arts Festival.  Twenty-five venues host artists, demonstrations, exhibits and receptions for local and Maine artists and craftspeople, all in downtown Bar Harbor.  Download a map of participating venues at www.legacyartsfestival.com.  The Art Walk is held on a Friday during the Legacy of the Arts Festival, which is June 17-24, 2012.

Bar Harbor is 20 miles southeast of Ellsworth, 50 miles south of Bangor.  From Route 1 in Ellsworth, take Route 3 east to Bar Harbor.  Public transportation: Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport, the Bangor International Airport.
