downtown bangor artwalk
The Artwalk unites artists with downtown businesses to celebrate the diversity of arts in Bangor. Started in 2008 as an informal open-studio tour, the Artwalk brings hundreds of people to Bangor for evenings spent enjoying art, mingling with friends and dining in a wonderful array of restaurants. The freshness of Bangor’s ArtWalk is evidenced by great attendance and the broad range of artistic media and styles including painting, sculpture, pottery, photography, mixed media, fiber art, music, instrument building, dance, and performance art. Held five Fridays annually. Bangor’s compact downtown and striking architecture make it a perfect walking community.
