damariscotta-newcastle artwalk

Twin Villages2

Damariscotta-Newcastle ArtWalk is a free, self-guided walking/driving tour of art venues in Damariscotta and Newcastle. The ArtWalk takes place the third Friday of the month from 4 to 7 p.m., June through September.

The event promotes awareness of the diverse local arts groups;  started  by a small coalition of art connoisseurs, business owners and nonprofit leaders. There is  an incredibly eclectic range of participants;  including 22 sites of  art/craft galleries, gift shops, nonprofits and restaurants. Some venues  offer live music, some will have refreshment; all will have a welcoming, creative atmosphere.
